ORANGE COUNTY, CA – True Lacrosse is pleased to announce it has merged with Cali Gold to create True Cali Gold, our newest program serving the local lacrosse community in Orange County and its surrounding area. Cali Gold’s high standards and commitment to training have laid a solid foundation on which True Lacrosse is eager and excited to build and grow.

To ensure a seamless transition, Cali Gold Directors Luke Phipps and Knute Krause will remain in leadership roles of the new True Cali Gold program. Their focus will remain on providing the best lacrosse training possible, now augmented by True’s extensive resources and infrastructure, which will offer players more opportunities to compete; access to a vast network of coaches; and entry to elite events where they will gain more exposure for recruiting.

Local programming will continue to welcome players of all skill levels; True’s State, National, and All-Region programming offers experienced players advanced training and competition. Regardless in which program a player participates, he will be working with a staff of experienced professionals who will help him incrementally grow his skill set and IQ.

True Vice-President Kylor Berkman is eager to welcome Cali Gold to True Lacrosse. “We are thrilled to bring Cali Gold under the True umbrella, as their mission to provide an elite training experience aligns with what we at True Lacrosse strive to do each and every day,” Berkman said. “We’re excited to continue to build on what Cali Gold has started and offer our additional resources to the young lacrosse players in Orange County. With Luke and Knute at the helm, we’re confident this new True program will quickly flourish and grow under their continued guidance, instruction, and leadership.”

Parents and players interested in learning more about the new True Cali Gold program are invited to attend our inaugural tryouts on January 25th.
